Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information PowHER LLC collects, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain English. If anything is unclear, email [email protected].
1. Who we are
PowHER LLC (“PowHER”, “we”, “us”) is a Florida limited liability company that provides executive career coaching for women. Our address is 333 N New River Drive, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301.
This policy covers powhercoach.com, go.powhercoach.com, our application and booking forms, and the emails, text messages and calls that follow from them (together, the “Services”).
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: your name, email address and mobile number.
- Application answers: for example your current title, industry, compensation range, career goals and LinkedIn profile.
- Booking details: the date, time and time zone of any call you schedule.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, text, chat or social media.
- Payment details: if you join a program, payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not store your full card number.
Information from calls
Calls take place on Zoom. We may record and transcribe calls for quality, training and to support your coaching. We tell you at the start of a call when it is being recorded, and you may ask us not to record.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our pages we and our partners collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the time of your visit and the ad or link that brought you to us. We collect this with cookies, pixels and similar tools.
3. How we use your information
- To review your application and decide whether our program is a fit.
- To schedule your calls and send confirmations and reminders.
- To deliver our coaching program if you become a client.
- To reply to your questions and keep in touch about our Services.
- To measure and improve our website and our advertising.
- To meet our legal obligations, enforce our terms and protect our business and our clients.
4. Cookies, pixels and advertising
We use advertising and analytics tools such as the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API. These tools tell us which ads lead to applications, booked calls and enrollments, so we can measure our ads and show them to people likely to be interested. To do this we may share limited information with Meta, such as page events and contact details that are hashed (encoded) before they are sent.
You can limit this by adjusting your browser cookie settings, by changing your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings, or through industry opt-out pages such as optout.aboutads.info.
5. Text messages and email
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we send messages about your application, your booked calls and reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
You only receive text messages from PowHER if you check a text message consent box on one of our forms. Appointment and service texts and marketing texts each have their own, separate, optional consent box. For help, reply HELP, email [email protected] or call (828) 964-1232.
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
6. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers that run parts of our business for us, such as our CRM and scheduling platform, Zoom, email and text messaging providers, payment processors, and analytics and advertising platforms. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
- Our team and coaches who deliver the program to you.
- Legal reasons: when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
- Business transfers: if PowHER is merged, sold or reorganized, your information may transfer as part of that transaction under this policy.
7. How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.
8. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
9. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can opt out of marketing at any time. Email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to verify your identity first, and we may keep some information where the law requires it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the laws of your state.
10. Children
Our Services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
11. Where information is processed
We are based in the United States and our providers process information in the United States. If you use our Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred there.
